F.A.Q.

Depending on your size/practice, you’ll find different information on the sheets presenting our ranges directly. If you have the slightest doubt, a team of enthusiasts and practitioners is at your disposal via the website chat (blue logo) at the bottom of your screen.

The premises are located in Brittany, more precisely in Pencran in Finistère. We are located Espace Joseph Rolland – 29800 PENCRAN.

All AFS foils are manufactured in our company in Pencran, France. All AFS Advanced boards are also manufactured here. Some of our boards are made in Tunisia by Terminatech, as are our covers. Unfortunately, we haven’t yet succeeded in making this bet, but our wings are now manufactured in China, although all R&D is carried out in-house.

Unless otherwise indicated, all materials shown are in stock. Delivery takes place within 48 hours of the order being placed.

All our products are packed in reinforced cardboard boxes. We ship all over the world, with occasional shifts between private distribution, boat and plane… The whole unit is protected with various types of foam.

If the delivery has been accepted, simply create a ticket on afs-foiling.fr/demande-sav/. If you have not yet received the order, feel free to unpack the parcel in front of the carrier. In the event of the slightest impact, you can refuse the parcel – no financial charge will be applied. We have insurance for that. A new parcel will then be sent to you.

You can contact our reseller network or our ambassadors. We also organize AFS Days, where you can test all AFS equipment.

How can I contact your company if my question isn’t answered here?

You can contact us directly via the website chat where a team of passionate practitioners is on hand to answer your questions. This is the blue icon at the bottom of your screen.

The best design to win

AFS Pure foils are designed for demanding riders looking for high performance. Whether you’re involved in the competition circuit or just want to shoot the breeze with friends, perfect your freestyle manoeuvres or carve out some nice curves on the waves and connect multiple rides then the Pures are for you.

We developed the Pure line with a single objective in mind: to give our riders every opportunity to shine on the World Tour.

Camber profile

For these new versions of the Pures 700 and 900 (our pro riders’ favorite foils), we pushed the aspect ratio above 9 (700: 9.6 and 900: 9.2) while refining the profile across the entire wingspan and also the fuselage thanks to the Fuselink connection. The result is a foil that generates much less drag and therefore delivers much more glide, speed, and performance than in the past.

Slashing effect

As we’ve increased the wingspan, we’ve paid particular attention to maneuverability. Rolling, of course, but also yawing.

The foil is very playful and allows aggressive transitions with the possibility of skidding the stern with the right support.

Bombproof freestyle construction

As our riders take part in events all over the world, we wanted them to be reassured by the equipment they use.

That’s why our Pure range has been specially developed to handle the toughest landings. In particular, we have strengthened the wing/fuselage connection to achieve this objective.

2 stab positions

Since the Pure’s program is to be a versatile foil that performs well in all disciplines, we’ve kept two stab positions.
In the forward position, the foil is very playful and lively on the pitch axis, which makes it very efficient when pop, whereas in the backward position, the foil is more fixed on this axis and favors control in races or on speed runs.

The Pure 700 and 900 are also foils that work extremely well in waves. Their long gliding skills and excellent pumping abilities will enable you to surf and connect as many waves as your legs will allow...
